Despite the scorching heat, what fun to be on the sidelines shooting for my alma mater, Miami University, when they came to town to face the Gophers at TCF Stadium. Minnesota gave the Redhawks a thrashing both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, coming away with a 26-3 win.
